Why Serve?

Our volunteer teams are the front line of ministry here at BCC. God’s Word makes it clear that serving is a critical part of our spiritual journey. Sharing the time and talents we have been given is truly an act of worship. As we serve we build relationships, grow spiritually, and help others discover the joy of following Jesus.

"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them to serve one another." - 1 Peter 4:10

"Serve one another in love." - Galations 5:13

God's Word directs us to acknowledge and take hold of the call to serve others. His Word makes it clear that serving is an act of love and it is paramount for us to be engaged in community.
